Oct 21, 2009: Rainwater Tank Arrives
The 1700 gallon cistern arrived today.
Rainwater collection tank arrived today. Luckily we were able to get an unloader as the whole thing weighed 700lbs including the pallet. It will be buried in the back of the house.
The tank is 1,700 gallon capacity of which 1,200-1,400 is usable. Emptying the tank can result in what will look like a submarine surfacing in your yard.
