Nov 30, 2009: House Slab Poured
The plumbing inspection was passed, allowing the house slab to be poured.
We were hoping to have it poured on Wednesday, but another load of gravel was needed to level the ground, so we just had to wait until today.
A boom truck was used to pour the concrete. One of the specified ingredients in the concrete is fly ash, which is a byproduct from coal fired power plants.
Completed slab.
That is all for today. The concrete will cure overnight and tomorrow we can start on the house panel assembly.
