May 19, 2010: Siding and Drywall Near Completion
Work continues to progress on the siding and drywall.
You can see the siding nearing completion. It is harder to see progress on the drywall because it is a matter of sanding and reapplying compound.
These are the inlet and exhaust vents for the house conditioning and ventilation system. The cooler filter box is just on the other side of this wall.
The drywallers have large fans going in the house to dry out the compound. They are having a little trouble since the house is so well sealed. We connected a temporary ventilation system to move air in the house to hopefully assist with the drying.
